I finally got myself to study. Boohoo!!! Maybe I should start acting like Dmitry Tursunov and start adding random exclamation points!!! Yippee!!!!!!!! His blog is just...awesome! I wish I could be that funny...
Random news of the week: Yesterday Tiffany and I were studying on the Diag when we noticed a couple getting married in front of the grad. library. The grad library of all places! That place is ugly! Of course some random strangers yelled "objections" to the marriage. But this wasn't it. The 10 or so people, dressed up for the wedding, had their dance right there for all of us to watch. They didn't even take up any space. Firstly, I would never get married in front of the grad. library. Secondly, I would have gotten chairs and such to sit on. Thirdly, if I was going to get married on the Diag, I would have taken the place over. It wouldn't look as weird then.
Anyway, while I was watching sports on TV, I came to a few conclusions. The first was that guys need to shave. I was watching UCLA versus Penn State in the NCAA men's volleyball final and the guys hadn't shaved due to some superstition. I guess there is nothing wrong with being superstitious, but still...you could look so much better without the facial hair. Just look across the net! And just when I thought only UCLA could be this weird, I see the Cavs sporting beards to show team unity. I wonder who came up with the idea first. And I really hope most guys don't think they look better with a beard. Same thing with long hair. I like the fact that Ginobili cut his long locks. As you can see below, he reminded me of tennis player Tommy Robredo. Look at these pictures stolen off of their bios (from their respective sport sites)!

Manu Ginobili
They are almost going through the opposite phase. Tommy has grown out his hair and Manu used to have long hair and now has short hair. Of course I feel that the shorter haircut looks better. Maybe even on Rafael Nadal. Definitely on Marat Safin though. Really, these guys need to be vain for once and look through their old photos. I certainly do (look through their old pics, hehe).
And lastly, I watched the NCAA women's gymnastics championships even though I knew the results because of Nina Kim (my "lesbian lover" aka favorite gymnast right now)! She was awesome. Otherwise I followed Courtney Kupets, Ashley Miles, and Ashley Postell. Courtney Kupets, I think, is prettier than her sister. And Terin Humphrey still can't find a hair color to match her horrendous makeup. Supposedly Courtney McCool is going to Georgia next fall! I better not miss the Georgia meet next year if it is at U of M.
