Only one more final!
Yeah, two finals down, one to go. Friday was quite insane. The orgo test was long and taxing. The physics test was pretty easy with a few hard questions that could kill my grade. Oh well, I can't do anything about that now.
Anyway, I had a slight fever on Thursday night, so instead of studying I went to sleep and slept 12 hours. Now I feel a bit better, except that I then got my period, so I'm not sleeping as much again. 7 hours of sleep is enough to function with, I suppose. I've been working hard on playing Suikoden V, if anything, so nothing too taxing.
Week 15
One more lecture left and then I am done! Yippee!
I love Suikoden V!
Okay here's the other news. On Friday I went to a Tiger's game. Comerica is really nice! The Tigers wom 5-1 against the Indians. It was fun. On Saturday I saw "Tsotsi" with Michelle. It was a really good foreign film. It wasn't particularly violent...I just felt tense the entire time.
Suikoden V is amazing! I would rant about it, but I rather play it then rant.
Week 14
Lots of news! Here it comes in random order...
1) The band concert...not quite a disaster but it could have easily become one. We rushed like no other. Bach sounded like crap. My solo went alright. I played on my own reed that I had finished making just hours before. It was a bit too hard. Oh well. Amanda came in a measure early on two of her three solos, but she didn't look well when she came in late to rehearsal that morning. Finally it is over.
2) DP Day was fun. We made a garden and painted a shed at Burt Elementary. Unfortunately they ran out of stuff for us to do. Also we came but we didn't have nearly enough seeds. They had too much food. Ms. Smith also bought us donuts. We got back about 1/2 an hour early. The week after, it was our last time at Burt Elementary school. We went to eat in Mexicantown afterwards. Wow, I love good Mexican food for cheap. It felt weird that the tutoring ended. I better look for some tutoring to do in the fall.
3) Ish's birthday party at necto...well I borrowed one of her shirts. It was a red, lacy, tunic-like shirt with the squareneck top. It was too tight around the arms. Maybe I am too buff like they say... Ish did my makeup. It looked pretty good. I think if they had done it darker I could have looked like a vampire. Anyway I also wore my tubey sweater on top of it. I love the sweater, but it doesn't go well on top of other clothes, and I'm too afraid to wear it by itself because of the low neckline. The place was crowded and had a bunch of weird guys. I guess it was fun, but it really did get repetitive. Makeup is also a pain to get off.
4) 37/40 on my physics test! I lived!
5) We went grocery shopping this weekend, and frozen pies were on sale. Guess how many we bought? 4 of them! We made an apple pie that afternoon and I had 2 slices. Mmm Marie Calendar pies are awesome! Also I bought myself a half-gallon of cheap ice cream and a box of Cheez-its. Food is good...
6) I won an award or something for Chemistry! I get free lunch a week from Wednesday. Maybe they'll also give me some other goodies... Hmm more cash for more yarn?
7) I got into the Biology class that I wanted but the chemistry class is full or something. All the discussion sections are closed, and yet there are 48 open seats in the lecture. Why won't they let me register? Why? Anyway, fall semester I will be taking 14 credits. However, my 8 hours of lab each week make that 21.5 hours of class. Orchestra also sucks that it is only 1 credit for 2.5 hours. Hopefully I enjoy orchestra more than band...
8) I finally got around to playing Suikoden V. Tons of character development so far and not much action. Load times really really suck. Otherwise I'm enjoying it. I wish the character profiles on the dialogue boxes were bigger. Suikoden V has such nice character art. The character models (3D) aren't so good.
